Newborn Sessions
When should I book my newborn session?
It’s never too early to book.
Because babies arrive on their own timeline, I reserve a flexible timeframe around your due date. Once baby arrives, you simply call me and we confirm the exact session date.
Newborns are ideally photographed between 5–10 days old while they’re still sleepy and naturally curled. After two weeks, babies are more alert and less interested in being posed.
I make this process calm, easy, and completely stress-free — especially for first-time parents.
What if my baby gets sick or things don’t go as planned?
You’re parents. Life happens 💛
If baby isn’t feeling well, we reschedule — no stress and no extra charge.
If for any reason we don’t capture what we need during your session, I will invite you back for a complimentary reshoot. Your final artwork matters too much to settle.
What type of images will be captured?
We capture a beautiful mix of:
• Baby portraits
• Tiny details (hands, feet, lashes)
• Mom & baby
• Dad & baby
• Full family portraits
• Soft candid moments and gently guided poses
Everything is photographed with printing and wall art in mind.
Family Sessions
Where do family sessions take place?
Family sessions can happen:
• In studio at my beautiful, charming Niagara-on-the-Lake location
• In your home — I can travel to you and bring the Wee “Oui” Studio setup
• In the Great Outdoors at your favourite park or beach
Sessions are relaxed and fun! I guide you gently so nothing feels stiff or awkward.
What should we wear?
Keep it simple and coordinated — not overly matching.
Neutral tones, soft textures, and minimal logos photograph beautifully. The focus should always be on your connection, not your clothing.
And don’t worry — I guide you beforehand so you’re not standing in your closet the night before feeling overwhelmed. Busy families need simple. I’ve got you.
Headshot Sessions
Do you offer headshots?
Yes! I offer professional, personality-driven headshots for business owners, creatives, and professionals who want images that feel polished but still authentic.
Sessions can be classic and clean or relaxed and natural — depending on your brand.
And yes… they are printed beautifully too.
Artwork & Ordering
What happens after the session?
About one week after your session, we’ll meet to view your images and order your favourites.
I love doing this together because seeing your photographs on my large calibrated screen is completely different than trying to scroll through them on a phone. You can truly see the details — the tiny lashes, the expressions, the connection — the way they were meant to be seen.
It also makes choosing so much easier. Instead of zooming in and out, second guessing sizes, or trying to imagine what will fit your wall, I guide you through the process step by step.
We’ll choose your favourites, look at sizing properly, and I can even show you a to-scale preview of how your images will look in your space before you order.
Busy families don’t need another thing sitting on their to-do list. This way, everything is decided while you’re excited — and your photographs actually get printed and enjoyed.
Do you provide digital files?
Bambinos is a full-service, print-focused studio.
Every image is captured with the intention of becoming real archival photographic prints — printed to perfection and designed to last for generations.
Digital Negatives can be purchased through the boutique, but my heart (and my expertise) is in helping you create tangible artwork for your home.
Because photographs deserve more than being stored on a phone or computer and they deserve to be printed by the person who captured them, Me!
How long does it take to receive our artwork?
Once your order has been placed and payment is complete, your custom archival photographic prints, gallery wrapped canvases and framing are ready in approximately 2-3 weeks.
Whenever possible, I personally deliver them & can hang them too!
Can we reorder in the future?
Absolutely.
Your images are carefully archived and can be reordered at any time.
Many families continue building their wall galleries as their children grow — and I love watching those collections evolve.
Do you shoot film or digital?
Bambinos is a Fine Art digital photography studio.
I’m professionally trained in film & analog photography, but digital allows flexibility and creativity — especially with babies and busy families — while still delivering real archival photographic prints printed to perfection.
Every session is photographed with printing in mind.
